At Kompyte we are particularly sensitive with the user’s data protection.

We – meaning Semrush Inc – prepared this Privacy Policy to help you understand our practices with respect to the collection, use, and disclosure of information we collect from you through Kompyte’s web or mobile applications, our websites that link to this Privacy Policy, and any other services we provide to our customers or end users.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

From the 25th of May of 2018, our Privacy standards are defined according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 and with its compliance referring for all the company’s settled within the EU.

We want to underline that Kompyte has adopted in its information system the legally required technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of data stored, avoiding as much as possible their alteration, loss, or unauthorized access. Kompyte reserves the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy at anytime, and will notify users of material changes on the site before they take effect. Our data protection policy may vary over time due to possible legislative changes or the criteria used by the Data Protection Agency, should you need to contact them with any concerns about Kompyte failing to follow anything we have set forth on this page . If any changes occur we will inform you via this page.
Your use of the Site and any of the information, products or various services provided by us will be subject to the most current version of this Privacy Policy posted on this site at the time of your use. What information we collect

1. What is considered personal information

Personal information will be considered any information that specifically identifies an individual (name, address, telephone number, mobile number or email address) or any other information about the individual that is directly and personally identifiable.

2. What personal, identifiable information is collected from you through the website

We are the sole owners of all information collected on this site. We only have access to the information that you voluntarily provide us including, without limitation, the information you enter when you create an account and profile, send us an email, subscribe yourself to newsletters, request user support, or post any other content through the site or through Kompyte services. We will not sell or rent any personal information to anyone, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.

The information that we automatically collect when you use the site and the services include, without limitation, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your operating system, the browser type, the address of a referring site and your activity on the site. We also collect information from other devices such as your phone or tablet in a similar manner to optimize the mobile experience. Beyond mobile phone numbers, we collect mobile screen resolution, device make and manufacturer, as well as the device’s unique identifier, etc.

The completion of these forms or data collection tools, as well as with prior consent by the user, implies the inclusion of your data in our file and, unless requested not to, assumes that we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about any information we consider interesting to you (specials, new products or services, or changes to this Privacy Policy).

How we use the information we collect

The user authorizes Kompyte, its agents, its business and its distributors, whose intervention is necessary to provide the service, to treat the personal data confidentially and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 (for EU members) and with the respective policies for the rest of countries.

From Kompyte, we inform the user that personal information collected on these forms must be provided to us directly by the user, or if they intervene, by trade, its agent or value-added reseller. All data is collected under Kompyte, with the file or database fully identified and registered in the Data Protection Agency under the user name Kompyte, ensuring at all times that the data requested is adequate, relevant and not excessive for the purpose for which it was collected.

The data is computerized and treated by Kompyte qualified personnel, the access will be restricted and only those with permission should have access to such information.
If the user performs a simple query and is would not like to receive future information, the data will be deleted once the issue has been resolved.

It is your choice not to provide us with any certain information. In this case, you may not be able to use or perceive certain added value from the Kompyte site or services, as most of the information will be required in order to register yourself as a member in the platform and deliver our services. The Kompyte team needs this information in order to offer you all the added value of our services.

Once you register on Kompyte side, you may be given a choice of when you want to receive email messages. There are three types of email alerts:
Alerts. The system creates alerts in order to notify you about competitor’s updates.
Updates. The system informs you about changes in the platform, new features and other information important in optimizing your use of Kompyte services.
Newsletters about product updates, improvements, special offers, or special distributions of content by us.
You may choose to no longer receive email messages by using info@kompte.com. We need that you identify yourself and inform us of which kind of mails you would like to unsubscribe. You also will be given the opportunity, in any commercial email that we send to you, to opt out of receiving such messages in the future. It may take a period of time for us to process an opt-out request.

Note that changing information in your account or opting out of receipt of promotional email communications will only affect future activities or communication with us.
You may tell us not to share your personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes by using the email address associated with your account and send an email to contact@rivaliq.com with the words “Remove from direct marketing” in the subject line.

5. Exercise of rights of access, rectification , cancellation and opposition.

The user may at any time, request access to his personal data file stored in Kompyte with the aim to obtain information about their data as well as communication made with them, if any, or for rectification, cancellation, modification or opposition to the processing of personal data in accordance with the procedure established by Kompyte.

Such rights may be exercised by mail to legal@kompyte.com or writing to Carrer Independència 367, Entresuelo – 08026 Barcelona – Spain. In both cases the user who wants to modify the data must be identified. Additionally, the user always has the possibility of automatic unsubscribe at any statement to be made by e- mail.

Kompyte will inform you of cases in which we may share personal or other information that we have collected about you and your activities in our site or during the use of our services. We aim to be extremely transparent with this and inform you that in any case we share information, the aim of it is improve the user experience and the value added of our services and not for any other reason.

Kompyte, with the effect of sharing personal data, will sign with third parties a contract to provide services to the company in question, the third party will act as the data processor in accordance with the with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 (for EU members) and with the respective policies for the rest of countries.

In this contract, Kompyte instructions will be collected. It means the person or organism in charge of the data processor, the security level and measures applicable to the data, guarantees the removal of the data once the service for what it was contracted is completed.

In the assumption that Kompyte, in the future, will make an international movement of data, Kompyte will inform the affected users of this fact, once verified the no-application prohibitions in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 (for EU members) and with the respective policies for the rest of countries.

We only share personal information with third parties in the cases indicated below. In other possible cases, we will inform you and give you an opportunity to opt out of having your personal information shared.
